Corcoran Yard replaces two acres of asphalt with homes, shops and a lane wide enough for a market stall and a fire truck.
The site sits between Durham’s Central Park and the Ellerbe Creek greenway. Rather than one long building, the plan splits into two with a lane between, so the walk from the park to the trail runs through the block and past the shopfronts.
Progress
Foundations were completed in March 2026. The podium is poured and timber framing reaches the third floor on the north building. We post a photo and a schedule note on the site fence every Friday.
